1. When heat setting process
In the groove of the setting machine, soft finishing can meet the requirements of customers for the fabric, and make it not easy to scratch on the cloth guide wheel. The heat setting makes the fabric surface smooth and stable in size, and can eliminate the wrinkles and creases formed in the dyeing and finishing process. At the same time, the setting process conditions should be strictly controlled during the setting process.
① The setting temperature should be determined according to the elastic shrinkage and thickness of the fabric. If the temperature is too high, the strength and elasticity will decrease, and the fabric may change color. If the setting temperature is too low, the fabric is easy to curl, the width is unstable and the shrinkage is large.
② The speed of setting speed mainly depends on the length of setting area and setting temperature. If the speed is too fast, the setting will not be effective. It is difficult to solve the fine wrinkles in dyeing and finishing process. The speed is slow, especially under high temperature conditions, the fabric turns yellow and elasticity decreases.
③ After determining the fabric width, the appropriate overfeeding amount and tension will affect the weight, elasticity and wrinkle of the fabric. If the fabric tension is small, the overfeed is large, and the cloth surface is not smooth, it is difficult to eliminate the fine wrinkles produced in the dyeing process. The high tension and small overfeed will lead to curling during heat setting.
