During the heat setting process, the tension of the fabric has a certain effect on the quality of the setting, including the dimensional thermal stability, strength and breaking elongation of the fabric. The warp dimensional thermal stability increases with the increase of the warp overfeed during setting, while the weft dimensional thermal stability decreases with the increase of the degree of stretching of the door width. The average single yarn strength of the finalized fabric is slightly higher than that of the unshaped one, and the change in the weft direction is more obvious than that in the warp direction. After setting the fabric's breaking elongation, the weft direction decreases as the extension degree increases, while the warp direction increases as the overfeed increases. Therefore, in order to obtain good dimensional thermal stability of the fabric and help improve the wearability of the fabric, the warp direction should be appropriately over fed during heat setting, and the weft direction extension should not be too high. For this reason, it is required that no large warp tension is used in the pre-treatment, so as to avoid excessive elongation and force large shrinkage in the weft direction, so that a larger stretch is required in the end.
