What Are The Types Of Drying Equipment?

There are two drying methods used in cement plants. One is drying in the grinding process, drying and grinding equipment (drying mill), and the other is using separate drying equipment, materials. After drying, it is then ground.

The use of a flooding and grinding system simplifies the process, saves investment and reduces management staff. In addition, due to the simplification of the process, the chances of dusting up dry materials during transportation and intermediate storage are also reduced. However, when the moisture of the material exceeds a certain limit, or if a component of the raw material is very sticky and it is difficult to feed or dry the mill, a separate drying device must be used. At present, the drying equipment used in China has the following four types:

1. Three-cylinder dryer

The rotary dryer can be divided into two types: forward flow and reverse flow according to the same direction of the material and heat flow. The material is in the same direction as the flow direction of the hot gas stream. The opposite direction of the material and the hot gas flow is called countercurrent.

According to the different heat transfer modes, they can be divided into three types: direct heat transfer, indirect heat transfer and multiple heat transfer. The direct heat transfer rotary for the thousand machine heat transfer mode is the direct contact between the hot gas and the material in the simplified body; the indirect heat transfer rotary dryer is also called the double cylinder rotary drying machine, the hot gas is the sleeve of the dryer cylinder The inside of the cylinder passes, and the material is engraved on the outside of the sleeve. The heat of the hot gas is transferred to the material through the metal sleeve. The double heat transfer rotary dryer is also a double-tube rotary dryer. The hot gas is first returned. Passing through the sleeve of the transfer machine, indirectly transferring heat to the material, and then from the inside of the sleeve to the outside of the sleeve, directly contacting the material to transfer heat.
