Daily maintenance of the dehydrator machine

Mar 16, 2025

What are the daily maintenance tasks of the dehydrator machine?

The daily maintenance of the dehydrator machine mainly includes the following aspects:

1. Cleaning

After each use, the residual materials and dirt inside and outside the dehydrator machine should be cleaned in time. The outer shell can be wiped with a damp cloth, and the inside of the drum can be rinsed with clean water or gently scrubbed with a soft brush, and then wiped dry.

Clean the feed and discharge ports regularly to prevent material blockage. Use small tools such as tweezers and toothpicks to clean debris from narrow areas.

Keep the surrounding environment clean and tidy to avoid dust and debris accumulation around the dehydrator machine, so as not to affect the heat dissipation and normal operation of the equipment.

2. Inspection

Before starting the machine every day, check the appearance of the equipment for damage, deformation or cracks, etc. Pay special attention to key parts such as the casing, drum, and transmission parts.

Check whether the transmission belt is tight enough. Too loose will cause slippage and affect the dehydration effect; too tight will increase belt wear and motor load. The belt tension can be adjusted by adjusting the belt tensioner.

Check the lubrication of the bearings. Add appropriate amount of lubricating oil or grease regularly to ensure smooth operation of the bearings and reduce wear. At the same time, observe whether the bearings have abnormal noise, heat or vibration. If there are any abnormalities, they should be replaced in time.

Check whether the electrical system is firmly connected and whether the wires are damaged or aged. Ensure that electrical equipment such as motors, controllers, switches, etc. operate normally to avoid electrical accidents.

3. Maintenance

Regularly perform comprehensive maintenance on the dehydrator machine, including disassembling the drum, cleaning internal parts, inspecting and replacing worn parts, etc. The specific maintenance cycle can be determined based on the frequency of use of the equipment and the working environment.

Perform regular maintenance on the motor. Clean the dust and dirt on the motor housing and check whether the motor's cooling fan is operating normally. At the same time, regularly measure the motor's insulation resistance to ensure that the motor's insulation performance is good.

Maintain the transmission parts, such as gears and chains, add lubricating oil regularly, check the wear of the gears, and replace them if necessary. For the chain, check its tightness and wear, and adjust or replace it in time.

Regularly check and calibrate the safety devices of the equipment, such as safety guards, emergency stop buttons, etc., to ensure their normal operation and the safety of operators.

4. Records

Establish equipment maintenance record books to record the time, content, parts replaced, etc. of each maintenance, so as to track the maintenance status of the equipment and provide reference for subsequent maintenance.

Record the faults and problems that occur during the use of the equipment, as well as the solutions. This helps to discover potential problems of the equipment in a timely manner and improve the reliability and stability of the equipment.
